Hello, my name is John Meara (aka Beachfront Johnny). I grew up in the Washington DC area of N. Virginia. Right out of college I worked for a lobbying firm & then a top consulting firm (Booz Allen) where I realized after a few years the 9 to 5 World wasn't for me. I wanted to be an entrepreneur, so in 1998 I launched my first dotcom in the online travel industry. By 2000 I had mastered my craft & by 2005 I moved my operation to the beach where I've wanted to live since I was a young boy. With only 3 employees I managed to rank in the top 10 of US travel companies for several years in sales from travel brokers to high-end resorts in Mexico, Caribbean, & Hawaii. In 2010 I decided to sell the company & fulfill a lifetime dream of owning a bar. Who wouldn't want to own a bar on an island. I now say "I always wanted to own a bar, until I owned a bar." After 2 years I sold the bar & moved back to Florida.

I then launched another travel company as well as a consulting business on the side. After only 1 year both businesses took off. I was again receiving major awards for sales due to my extensive knowledge of marketing & customer service. As a consultant I worked with 2 Fortune 500 companies as well as a few others specializing in sales, marketing, customer acquisition, customer service, algorithms, social media & dealing with the ever changing World of technology. 

I enjoy boating, golfing, going out to dinner, cooking, shopping, walking on the beach & watching the sunset. I like to have fun, however more importantly I love getting things done. Producing results for my clients while building long lasting relationships is important. 

I am excited to get started with CENTURY 21 Beggins while adding another amazing chapter to my life.
